Handheld camera shot: Moon rising.

Posted on March 13, 2010 at 1:02 PM

February 28, 2010 - The view from my property, full moon rising over the Cabinet Mountains. I took this shot with an easy to use Sony Cyber-Shot, and here's the kicker, viewing through a Bushnell 20-60x60 spotting scope, the camera handheld! How did I get a somewhat in-focus shot using such an inadequate method? My husband sturdied me by wrapping his arms around me while I shot. Not a bad way to spend the evening!
